Rio American High School’s Band program asked me to help out with the website for their multi-award winning band program.  I offered to fix an urgent content issue and look at updating their plugins and set up backups.  As I talked to the parent volunteers more, I also agreed with them that the website needed an updated look.

Once their backups were automated and plugins updated, I set them up on a Genesis WordPress theme which has the flexibility they need for updating events themselves on their home page.  They are also now set up on a Google Calendar integration with WordPress so they can easily update their calendar.

At this point I’m hands off on the website except for weekly maintenance checkups.  They are providing their own content and I’m available for questions.  They have been very pleased with the results.
